Finally England end their drought at Lord's as they beat Australia by 115 runs in the 2nd test, their first Ashes win in 75-years on Monday, 20th July, 2009 at London. Andrew Flintoff took 5/92 his final test at Lord's as England took 1-0 lead in the 5 match series.

In a very tensed and thrilling first test of match Ashes Series between host England and Australia, Paul Collingwood and James Anderson batted brilliantly under pressure to draw the match for England with 1 wicket remaining on 5th and final day of 1st test match.

England reduced to 159/7 still 40 overs remained to survive, then Collingwood and Graem Swann batted 19 overs before later got out and left England to struggle another 19 overs.
