The 1st test match between arch rivals India & Pakistan has started on Thursday, 22nd November 2007 at Firoz Shah Kotla Ground in Delhi.

After the ODI series loss against India, Pakistan will try to take revenge by winning the test series.

This is Anil Kumble's first test match as Indian Captain for test matches. Its the perfect start for Kumble to play his new inning as Kotla is the happy hunting ground where he took all 10 wickets in an inning against the same opponent in 1999.
