IND v PAK Asia Cup Result - Kohli's 183 powers India to a thrilling win by chasing 330


Virat Kohli once again helped India to successfully chased 300+runs when they beat bitter rivals Pakistan by 6 wickets with 13 balls remaining on Sunday, 18th March, 2012 at Mirpur. Pakistan made 329 runs in 50overs and IND made 330 in 47.5 overs.

Pakistan after winning the toss put their best opening partnership against India with 224 runs and their 2nd best ever as Hafeez hiy 105 and Jameshed made 112 runs off 104 runs while Younus made 34 balls 52 runs to set a tough total of 329 runs.

India then lost Gambhir on duck off the 2nd ball but Tendulkar 52 put 33 runs in 19 overs for the 2nd wicket and then Rohit Sharma 68 put 167 runs in 25 overs but it was Virat Kohli played one of the best ODI innings with 183 runs off just 148 balls with 22 fours and a six and guided India to victory with 13 balls remaining.

India has to wait for the final league match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and if host win they will qualify based on they beat India in the league match.
