Sri Lankan skipper Mahela Jayawardene won the toss and elected to field first in the 9th ODI of CB series on Friday, 22nd February 2008, in the day/night match against Australia at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Australia have lost their top three batsmen. Sri Lanka's really putting the pressure on the Aussies; the runs have been difficult to come by.
The Lankans have made one change with specialist opener Dilruwan Perera being included in place of Chamara Kapugedera, while Tilekeratne Dilshan falls back in to the middle order.
The Aussies are going in with the same side and that means Brett Lee has got an extended break till Sunday when the hosts take on India.
