India vs Sri Lanka - 2nd ODI of CB Series ended in a draw due to rain

The second match of the Commonwealth Bank (CB) series between India and Sri Lanka has also been called off due to rain.

The rain started in the closing moments of the Indian innings and there was no let up after that. The two teams will get two points each exactly as India and Australia got in the first match on Sunday, which too was abandoned due to rain.

Earlier India, have scored a brilliant recovery to get to 267 for four after they were reduced to 83 for four at one stage, thanks to Gautam Gambhir and Captain Dhoni with unbroken pertnershi of 184 in just 175 balls.

Gambhir hit a brilliant century (102 off 101 balls) in the final year of the inning and Dhoni scored a half century ( 88 off 95 balls).

Next match will be also a day-night game on Friday between Australia vs Sri Lanka match at Sydney.
