Eng beat Nz by inning & 9 runs in 3rd Test - Won Series by 2-0
England's bowlers put brilliant performance with ball to beat New Zealand by an inning and 9 runs on the 4th day of the 3rd and final test match of the npower Series at on Sunday, 8th June, 2008. England also won the Series by 2-0.
New Zealand forced to follow on by England after reduced to 123 runs in the 1st inning due to fine bowling by James Anderson, took 7 wickets and then in the 2nd inning Ryan Sidebottom took 6 wickets to reduced them 232 runs.
For New Zealand only McCullum , Fynn and Jacob Oram put some resistance with 71, 49 and 50 not out.
England won the 3 match npower test series by 2-0 after 1st test match drawn at Lords and won 2nd test match by 6 wickets at Manchester and then 3rd test here.
