Sehwag hit 95 balls 119 runs - Ind beat Pak by 6 wik in Asia Cup

In a thrilling 5th match of Asia Cup, India successfully chased 300 runs in 42.1 runs against arch rivals Pakistan at National Stadium, Karachi on Thursday, 26th June, 2008. Sehwag and Raina put 198 runs for the 2nd wickets as India reached the target with six wickets and 47 balls to spare.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first made 299 runs in 50 overs, thanks to brilliant batting by captain Shoaib Malik and Younus Khan, scored 125 runs off 119 balls with 16 fours and 1 six, 59 runs respectively.

In reply India made quickest chase while facing a target of 300 runs. Sehwag and Raina chased brilliantly with 198 runs partnership for the 2nd wicket. Sehwag scored 119 runs in just 95 balls with 12 fours and 5 sixes and Raina contributed 84 runs 0ff 69 balls with 10 fours and 3 sixes.

Pakistan - 299/4 runs in 50 Overs.

India - 301/4 in 42.1 Overs.
